Burgenland to get full broadband coverage by 2019

The Austrian state of Burgenland is due to be entirely supplied with broadband internet by 2019, Der Standard reports. Telecoms providers plan to invest EUR 31 million in the expansion. In some southern parts the works have already started. In addition to the providers' investments, the region relies on funds from the federal broadband offensive and the EU.
