Cable and Wireless Communications (C&W) is investing USD 160 million in Barbados as it rolls out its new retail brand Flow on the island as part of its merger with Columbus Communications. Barbados is the first country to launch the newly combined retail brand.
Country manager Niall Sheehy said the Flow FTTH network will enable telephony (mobile and landline) video, audio, television and digital data stream services.
Sheehy also said the company moved into its new corporate home in Warrens (formerly the Orange Mall) and that on 1 August, it will officially transition from its Customer Care Centre at SkyMall to a new retail store under the Flow brand. The new retail outlet will serve as the touch-point for all of the products and services of the combined entity.
Sheehy also informed that the company is currently transitioning all of its products and services to the Flow brand, a process its says will take some time.
