CA says vandalism cost Kenya telecoms KES 280 mln

The Communications Authority of Kenya (CA) says that telecommunication service providers have cumulatively lost more than KES 280 million, mostly through acts of vandalism. CA director-general Francis Wangusi said the losses are largely attributable to terror attacks and destruction of property as part of political violence following the 26 October repeat election.
