CABLE NETWORKS UNDAUNTED BY FLAT RATINGS
US: The cable networks supported by advertising did not manage to add new viewers in the period 20 September 1993 to 17 April 1994, but are unalarmed by the flat ratings period. They blame the fact that CBS was forecasting the Olympics and also re-regulation forcing cable operators to move their positions on the dial, confusing viewers.
