Cable One acquires 45% stake in Vyve Broadband assets, with option to buy more

US operator Cable One said it has agreed to buy a 45 percent minority stake in Mega Broadband Investments, formed through the acquisitions of Vyve Broadband, Northland Communications and the broadband assets of Eagle Communications, for USD 574.1 million in cash, subject to some adjustment. Under the deal, Cable One also has the right to buy the remaining shares in MBI at a predetermined multiple of earnings, starting in 2023.
