Cablevision boosts Optimum Online service to 25 Mbps

Cablevision Systems, which operates in the New York area, has increased the speed of its core Optimum Online high-speed internet service to 25 Mbps downstream. This speed boost, which represents a more than 60 percent increase from the previous downstream speed of 15 Mbps, is being provided to both new and existing residential and business customers at no incremental cost. This latest enhancement comes two years after Cablevision increased all Optimum Online speed tiers, also with no price increase, for all customers.
