Cabo Telecom is expecting to end 2019 with a 8-10 percent growth in subscribers compared with the previous year, according to its director and president, Claudio Alvarez. The regional Brazilian telecom operator has a total of 130,000 contracts for telephony and internet services in the cities of Natal and Joao Pessoa and has a 300 km fibre network.
In 2019, Cabo Telecom invested BRL 38 million in new cabling and equipment and plans to invest around BRL 43 million in 2020, including for the installation of 200-300 km of fibre.
