Canada backs Nokia, Siemens to create, maintain jobs

Canada's Minister of Innovation, Science and Economic Development Navdeep Bains finalised at the World Economic Forum in Davos two new major projects in Canada with Nokia Canada and Siemens Canada. Bains announced a Government of Canada investment of up to CAD 40 million in Nokia Canada and an investment of up to CAD 35.66 million in a partnership between Siemens Canada and New Brunswick Power and Nova Scotia Power.
