Canal+ plans to cut 153 jobs closing customer service centre

Monday 5 June 2017 | 10:29 CET | News
Vivendi's French Canal Plus operations could see a reduction in customer service jobs with the proposed closure of the Saint-Denis centre situated north of Paris, reports Le Figaro. The project was presented internally as part of the company's measures aiming to trim EUR 300 million worth of costs and reach breakeven in France in 2018. The Saint-Denis customer service centre has 153 employees and its proposed closure was justified by the company as responding to the ongoing reduction in the number of calls from customers, who are increasingly using digital platforms.
