Canal Plus Afrique buys World Cup TV rights

Canal Plus Afrique has bought TV rights to the FIFA 2014 World Cup in Brazil on 12-13 July. The pay TV broadcaster will air all of the games live. The Canal Plus Foot channel will be wholly dedicated to the World Cup for one month. Besides the World Cup, Canal Plus Afrique shows games from France's Ligue 1, the Barclays English Premiere League, Italy's Serie A, Spain's La Liga, the UEFA Champions League and Europa League, and the African Cup of Nations.
