Canalys cuts FY smartphone market outlook, sees over 3% fall in shipments

Market researcher Canalys has cut its forecast for the smartphone market this year and now expects a 3.1 percent decline to 1.35 billion phones shipped. The cut in the outlook reflects the escalating trade war between the US and China, including the US measures taken against Huawei.
