Canonical, BQ launch second Ubuntu smartphone in Europe

Canonical has announced the launch of the second Ubuntu phone manufactured by Spanish company BQ. The new BQ Aquaris E5 HD Ubuntu Edition comes just four months after the first Ubuntu Mobile-powered handset was released and features the same 1.3GHz MediaTek A7 quad-core processor and 1GB of RAM. However, storage has been doubled to 16GB and the display increased to a 5-inch 720x1280 IPS screen. The phone also features a 13-megapixel rear-facing camera complete with dual flash, high-quality Largan lenses and BSI sensors, as well as a 5-megapixel front camera. The dual-SIM BQ Aquaris E5 HD
