The Argentina province of Santiago del Estero has joined the Capricorn fibre network, improving the international connectivity of the inland province. The state-owned company Enerse is adding a 1,500-km link connecting the town of Gancedo in the neighbouring province of Chaco with the border of Santiago del Estero from Q1. The link is expected to lead to improved broadband services for schools, hospitals and other public bodies in the province.
