Carlos Slim interested in Telekom Austria stake - report
Mexican billionaire Carlos Slim is eyeing a stake in Telekom Austria and is understood to have held initial talks with shareholders Ronny Pecik and state holding company OeIAG, writes Reuters citing a report in Austrian magazine 'Format'. Pecik controls 20 percent of Telekom Austria, with OeIAG controlling 28.4 percent. The magazine report did not cite any sources.

Pecik is happy with existing 21% stake in Telekom Austria

Telekom Austria investor Ronny Pecik is content with his current stake of around 21 percent in the company, Reuters reports. Speaking before the company's AGM, Pecik played down media reports that he was looking to build up his shareholding. Pecik is seeking a seat on Telekom Austria's extend supervisory board.
