CBL posts record USD 180 mln sales in 2016, EBITDA down 16%

Cable Bahamas (CBL) reported revenues of USD 180.6 million in 2016, up 9 percent compared to 2015 and a record annual figure in the company's 22-year history. Describing 2016 as "tumultuous", CBL said the results were achieved in spite of the severe impact of Hurricane Matthew on the Bahamas, with the resulting repairs leading to a 12.5 percent rise in annual net losses to USD 16.7 million, while EBITDA declined by 15.7 percent to USD 43.6 million.
