CBS likely to be part of slimmed-down Apple TV pack - CEO

US broadcaster CBS's CEO, Leslie Moonves, said at a Recode conference that CBS "will probably do a deal with Apple TV" to be part of a slimmed-down TV channel package Apple TV is expected to offer, reports BBC News. There have been rumours that Apple is planning a big move in TV, and a new STB is expected to be announced in June. The revelation comes after subscription channel HBO launched its HBO Now streaming service in the US in March. It is only available on Apple devices, including Apple TV box, for the first three months. OTT subscription services are creating a challenge to US cable
