CCA, CTIA back FCC in court to keep 600 MHz auction on track

Monday 7 March 2016 | 18:39 CET | News
The Competitive Carriers Association (CCA) and CTIA wireless association have filed a joint motion in support of the FCC in a case against Latina Broadcasters of Daytona Beach in an attempt to prevent any delay to the 600 MHz Incentive Auction scheduled to begin on 29 March. Latina, which owns Azteca America affiliate station WDYB, is trying to get the court to stay an FCC decision that found it ineligible to take part in the auction while it considers its underlying challenge, or to delay the start of the auction.
