The CCIA (Computer & Communications Industry Association) lobby group reacted to the new digital tax proposed by the French government with a statement criticising this type of "unilateral action" from individual countries and supporting instead a coordinated tax reform via the OECD. The lobby group also expressed concern that the new digital tax "would end up harming French start-ups, investments and increase consumers prices."
