Cdiscount Cameroon starts taking Orange Money

The recently launched e-commerce portal Cdiscount Cameroon can now pay for their purchases using Orange Money. This presents an effective way in the country where many people have no bank cards to buy online, writes Agence Ecofin. Orange Money and MTN's Mobile Money have been very successful in Cameroon. Despite reliable statistics on the number of users, it is now possible to pay for everything with mobile phones, including water, electricity, cable, phone, supermarket shopping, plane tickets and even insurance.
