Cegeka acquires Gridmax to expand in 5G private networks

Belgian ICT services provider Cegeka announced the acquisition of Gridmax, giving it access to spectrum and services for the IoT. Gridmax provides mission-critical connectivity services, using its access to 3.5 GHz band spectrum and a multi-access edge computing platform. Cegeka said the takeover will help it expand in the industrial IoT market, with both 4G and 5G wireless services
