Cell C outlines turnaround strategy

South African operator Cell C has released its latest turnaround plans. CEO Douglas Craigie Stevenson said the company has been faced massive obstacles due to "a misguided business strategy", a recapitalisation in 2017 which burdened the business with unsustainable debt, poor decision making, and bad governance. Stevenson said the strategy focuses on ensuring operational efficiencies, restructuring the balance sheet, implementing a revised network strategy, and improving overall liquidity.
