Cell C pumps ZAR 427 mln into Western Cape network

South Africa operator Cell C said it's investing ZAR 427 million in its Western Cape infrastructure in the second half of this year, as part of its ongoing network projects across the country. Cell C CEO Jose Dos Santos said in a statement that the operator was conducting capacity upgrades and new infrastructure roll-outs across the region since June. Cell C's Radio Access Network upgrade project is already underway in the Western Cape and will see sites in the area upgraded and modernised by the end of November, in time for the festive season.
