Cellcom Liberia partners with Facebook on free data

Cellcom Liberia announced a collaboration with Facebook to bring internet access to key websites to its customers in Liberian through 'Free Basics', part of the Internet.org social responsibility initiative by Facebook. In launching this partnership with Facebook, Cellcom is giving access to the internet  even if customers have no data package or credit on their phones, the Daily Observer reported.  Cellcom users will have free access to Facebook and Facebook Messenger, as well as an additional 30+ websites such as bbc.com, superports.com, wikipedia.com and ask.com.
