Cellnex sets up foundation to narrow digital divide through connectivity

Spanish operator Cellnex Telecom, Europe's largest mobile towers company, has announced the creation and launch of a charitable arm with a stated mission to narrow digital, social and territorial divides through projects to improve access to connectivity. The Cellnex Foundation will also help transform personal and collective situations of vulnerability while contributing to improving the environment, said the operator, which earlier this year adopted a series of new ESG (environmental, social and good governance) goals for the 2021 to 2025 period.
