CEO of IAB UK to step down in January 2017

Guy Phillipson, CEO of the UK's Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB), will step down in January 2017 after 12 years leading the group. Since he was appointed in January 2005, the UK online advertising industry has grown from GBP 825 million to sales of GBP 8.6 billion in 2015, to account for 43 percent of total UK media expenditure. The IAB UK will be considering internal and external applications for the position of CEO, and is looking to appoint his successor by end-2016.
