CFC investigates monopolistic practices on fixed market

Mexico's antitrust regulator CFC has launched another investigation into monopolistic practices on the local¬ fixed telephony, internet and pay-TV market. These monopolistic practices allegedly cover the markets of production, distribution and marketing of fixed telephony, internet access and pay-TV. According to the competition watchdog, the monopolistic practices included contracts, agreements, arrangements or combinations among various market players with the aim of fixing, increasing, manipulating or colluding on the price of sale or purchase of goods and services provided on the market,
