Charter extends gigabit broadband to another 6 mln addresses

Charter's Spectrum Internet Gig broadband service is launching to over 6 million more US homes and businesses. New launches cover more than two dozen new markets, including Tampa-St. Petersburg, Florida; Buffalo, New York; Columbia and Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; Madison, Wisconsin; the Rio Grande Valley in Texas; as well as Spectrum cable systems in the greater Atlanta and New Orleans regions. Overall, Spectrum Internet Gig is now offered to more than 70 percent of the operator's footprint.
