Nepal's Chaudhary Group (CG) has selected Huawei for provision of 4G services on the local market. Huawei will provide equipment worth around USD 100 million for CG's 4G services launch, which could later be upgraded to 5G, Reuters reports, citing company chairman Binod Chaudhary. The company representative also said CG plans to initially invest USD 250 million in its 4G network in Nepal. Investments will mainly focus on expansion of voice services, but will also be used for deployment of data, online payments and other services, Chaudhary added.
