Chemring joins University of Surrey's 5G Innovation Centre

Chemring Technology Solutions, provider of mobile data management products, has become a research partner with the University of Surrey's 5G Innovation Centre (5GIC). Chemring, the trading name for Roke Manor Research, joins a research consortium which includes Aeroflex, Aircom International, BBC, BT, EE, Fujitsu Laboratories of Europe, Huawei, Ofcom, Rohde & Schwarz, Samsung, Telefonica and Vodafone. Chemring's first project will be to develop new technologies based upon its SmartSwitch policy-on-the-device app and the University of Surrey's phone location and context technology.
