Chey Tae-won to step down from SK Group company boards

SK Group chief Chey Tae-won will resign from his positions at boards of SK Group affiliate companies. The decision comes after Korea's top court recently upheld a four-year jail sentence for Chey for embezzling company funds, Arirang reports. He was convicted of embezzling USD 43 million from SK Telecom and its affiliate and funneling it into personal investments in 2008.
