Chile's Mundo Pacifico taps IP Infusion and Whitestack for first LatAm disaggregated optical network

Wednesday 22 July 2020 | 10:23 CET | News
IP Infusion has announced a contract to help Chilean triple play operator Mundo Pacifico install what will be the first disaggregated optical network in Latin America. The project has seen Mundo Pacifico increase its network capacity for major cities in central Chile by deploying IP Infusion's OcNOS network operating system and HyperNET, a software-defined IP network based on Cassini, a coherent switch and open packet transponder from Edgecore Networks that provides high performance switching along with long-haul CFP2 coherent optics modules.
