Chile's VTR offering first FTTH service in Quintero

Chilean cable operator VTR (Liberty Latin America) has begun offering fibre-optic services in the coastal city of Quintero in the central Valparaiso region, reports website Pisapapeles. The new service is already available in parts of the city and offers speeds of up to 600 Mbps for CLP 26,990 a year for 12 months, rising to CLP 33,990 thereafter.
