China first in M2M market with 74 mln connections

China is the world's largest M2M market with 74 million M2M connections at the end of 2014, representing almost a third of the global base, and has now become the global leader in the deployment of the Internet of Things (IoT), according to GSMA Intelligence, the research arm of the GSMA.
