China Telecom, Orange sign IoT connectivity deal

China Telecom and Orange have announced the extension of their existing partnership with a new agreement enabling their respective business customers to deploy IoT and M2M services across each other's networks. Announced at the "eSurfing on the Silk Road, IoT with the World" event in Shanghai, the deal will see Orange Business Services become one of China Telecom's preferred partners for IoT connectivity in Europe and Africa, while China Telecom will support Orange in Asia.
