China Unicom Hohhot tests Huawei's XMC-3E product

China Unicom Hohhot and Huawei have completed the initial test of the latest XMC-3E ODU product. The test used a 112-MHz channel space and the 4096QAM modulation scheme, and achieved a single-channel bandwidth of 1.37 Gbps on a single ODU module. That is more than double the throughput of a conventional ODU module, Huawei said.
