China UnionPay, Huaxia Bank partner on m-payments
Chinese bankcard association China UnionPay (UnionPay) has entered an agreement with financial institution Huaxia Bank to cooperate in the field of mobile payments, China Daily reports. China UnionPay and Huaxia Bank plan to jointly work to enhance their financial services and increase cooperation in sharing payment platforms. Via the services they plan to roll out, clients are expected to be provided with the option of using their mobile phones to carry out online shopping, pay water and electricity bills,

Chinese bankcard association China UnionPay (UnionPay) has signed another agreement for mobile payment services. UnionPay agreed with China Construction Bank (CCB) to develop a payments system that can be used online or via mobile phones, news agency Xinhua reports.
