Chinese operators China Mobile, China Unicom and China Telecom have announced the roll-out of 5G mobile phone services to customers. The three operators will start by offering 5G plans for CNY 128 per month, Reuters reports.
China initially planned to commercially launch 5G services in early 2020. China earlier announced plans to deploy over 50,000 5G base stations across 50 cities by year-end. Big cities, including Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Hangzhou, are already covered by the 5G network, authorities said.
