In Picton the fibre cable is a mere 300metres from my house, but we wont be getting fibre in Picton unless you live along the route the fibre cable travels, as it is our copper broadband is useless might as well be on dial-up, I could go to shop to get the news paper to read the news faster than what it takes on our supposed 10Mbps broadband.

Hmmm. Although I and about 30 other residents live a mere 5 km out of Rotorua (in Paradise Valley), we don't have the luxury of fixed-line internet. Instead of spending all this money on the above, ow about considering connecting us to the 21st century?
