Chunghwa Telecom completes FTTH proof of concept for open access network

Taiwanese operator Chunghwa Telecom has completed a proof of concept for open access network. Chunghwa Telecom teamed up with partner suppliers to demonstrate a multi-vendor FTTH system as an open access network in Taiwan. The system is based on the software functions running on the general cloud infrastructure and the network equipment from local suppliers.
