Cisco acquires Exablaze for ultra low latency networking

Cisco announced the acquisition of Exablaze, a privately held, Australia-based designer and manufacturer of network devices aimed at reducing latency and improving network performance. Integrating Exablaze's products and technology into the Cisco portfolio will give customers the latest FPGA technology for enhanced flexibility and programmability, the company said.
