Cisco helps Telefonica automate global IP infrastructure

Cisco has announced a contract to automate the global IP infrastructure of Telefonica Business Solutions, the B2B unit of Spanish operator Telefonica. Under the terms of the deal, Cisco will deploy its NSO (Network Services Orchestrator) product, enabled by Tail-f, to automate and configure Telefonica's IP infrastructure and business customer premises equipment. Cisco said its NSO product will serve to enhance the automation, agility and reliability of Telefonica's network, while accelerating new service delivery with automated, on-demand service provisioning.
