Cisco SP router and Ethernet share rebounds to 45% in Q3

Cisco's share of the global service provider routing and carrier Ethernet market bounced back to 45 percent in the third quarter, from 41 percent in Q2, due above all to a strong performance in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and Europe, the Middle East and Africa (EMEA) regions. The latest data from Synergy Research Group revealed that Cisco posted a 6 percent year-on-year rise of its EMEA revenues to USD 3.1 billion, and a 12 percent rise in APAC revenues to USD 1.9 billion, while maintaining its position in North America.
