Cisco to shut down Intercloud platform by March

Cisco is shutting down its Intercloud platform for connecting businesses to multiple cloud providers, the company said in an internal message to employees seen by Light Reading. The service was launched in early 2014 and is offered in partnership with multiple telecom operators. The company said it's been in talks with service provider partners for several months on the changes in its cloud strategy. Intercloud will shut completely by 31 March 2017.
