Civil rights groups call on EU privacy regulators to investigate RTB in online ads

The new complaints come on top of those filed in 2018 and 2019 by 15 other countries, calling for investigation into real-time bidding systems and the enforcement of EU data protection laws. The organisations and countries involved in the latest action are AsociatiapentruTehnologie si Internet (Romania),Defesa dos DireitosDigitais (Portugal), GONG (Croatia), Global Human Dignity Foundation (Malta), Homo Digitalis (Greece) and the Institute of Information (Cyprus). The countries where complaints were filed in 2018 and 2019 include Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany,
