Claro and Ericsson conduct first 5G tests in Brazil

Claro and Ericsson conducted the first 5G technology tests in Brazil at Futurecom 2016. The demonstration will allow telecom operators and partners, including academic institutions, health centres, energy sector and agriculture, to test the 5G resources in a live network. According to Claro's director of engineering, Andre Sarcinelli, 5G mobile telephony will allow traffic data that is hundred times faster than that offered today and will enable the connection of 100 times more devices.
