Claro Brasil launches 4G internet in Sao Paulo

Claro Brasil has started marketing 4G in São Paulo. The operator now provides 4G coverage in 11 regions: all host cities of the FIFA Confederations Cup (Recife, Salvador, Belo Horizonte, Rio de Janeiro, Fortaleza and Brasilia), and five others (Porto Alegre, Curitiba, Campos do Jordao, Parati and Buzios). The name chosen for the new technology is "4GMax" which has 40 MHz, twice the frequency of other technologies available. According to the operator, the minimum data plan is 2 GB for smartphones and costs BRL 79.90. It requires a voice plan tfor use in compatible devices, which are still few
