Claro Brasil opts for Ericsson Spectrum Sharing for 5G network

Ericsson has confirmed that Claro Brasil is using Ericsson's dynamic spectrum sharing technology to deploy the first 5G network in Latin America, using Claro's existing spectrum assets. The 5G services are being rolled out initially in twelve areas in Brazil, in Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. Thanks to Ericsson Spectrum Sharing, Claro is able to offer speeds of up to 400 Mbps, using more than 400,000 5G-ready radios delivered by Ericsson since 2015.
