Claro revenues up 25% in Argentina, Paraguay, Uruguay in Q2

America Movil reported second-quarter revenues up 25.3 percent year on year in Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay, with its three Claro units posting combined sales of ARS 11.8 billion compared to ARS 9.4 billion in the year-earlier period, including a 31.9 percent rise in service revenues to ARS 9.2 billion. Mobile service revenues in the three countries were up 38.5 percent to ARS 9.2 billion thanks to a 73.3 percent year-on-year surge in data revenues, with fixed-line revenues also growing, by 18.4 percent, to ARS 790 million at the end of June.
