Cloud infrastructure spending climbs by 39% year on year in Q2, Amazon dominates

Spending on cloud infrastructure services was up by 39 percent in the second quarter from the same period of 2018, according to Synergy Research Group. Amazon continued to dominate with a 33 percent market share followed by Microsoft at 16 percent and Google at 8 percent. Growth in spending is slowing down each quarter but the market expended by over USD 1.6 billion from the previous quarter.
