CMA refers Cellnex purchase of CK Hutchison towers for in-depth investigation

The UK Competition & Markets Authority (CMA) has referred the planned sale of CK Hutchison's passive mobile tower infrastructure assets in the UK to Cellnex for an in-depth investigation. The CMA has concerns that the merger has resulted, or may result in, a significant lessening of market competition.
